Frontacians are one of the oldest and most influential races in Aradath, having ruled the
greatest single Empire the world has ever seen. During the Second and Third Ages they built
magickal bridges that linked the realm, and their name translates to "Jeweled Ones" owing
to the three embedded jewel-like formations found on their foreheads and palms. Tall and
pale with white hair and eyes, Frontacians view themselves as elite politicians, thinkers,
and runemages with aspirations for renewed dominance.

The race possesses exceptional magical talent, legendary arcane creations, and the ability
to drain energy from others. However, Frontacians suffer from a genetic malady tied to the
Great Unmagick, requiring a weekly medication derived almost entirely from dragon essence.
Missing a single dose causes instability, and two missed doses risk fatality. Physically
fragile compared to martial races, they compensate with unmatched intellect, cunning, and


raw magical power. Frontacians exhibit considerable imperial pride and a cold, uncaring
demeanor toward those they consider lesser, though honesty holds significant cultural value
within their own society.
