Hithuals are stout humanoids hailing from Aerhauven within the Great Divide mountain range.


Known as some of the finest miners in the lands, they possess above-average strength and an
unshakeable resolve. Their culture centers around mining, craftsmanship, and a deep loyalty
to family and clan.

Fun-loving, brave, proud, and stubborn, Hithuals show equal enthusiasm for hard work and
hearty leisure. They form acquaintances readily but develop lasting bonds with outsiders
mainly through shared combat experiences. Beards are worn as symbols of skill and respect
by accomplished warriors of any gender. They possess a significant natural resistance to
magic, though this same resistance prevents them from becoming Rune Mages.

Hithuals distrust non-traditional methods such as magic, thievery, or charity, firmly
believing that worthwhile accomplishments require genuine effort. They are also renowned
for their remarkable tolerance for ale and their love of practical jokes.
