RENAMEITEM Author: Command Master Keywords: renameitem Type: Command Syntax: renameitem item <item>|<slot> <new short desc> - sets the short description of the intended item. The Rename Item command renames an item's short description to be different (and long description automatically). The text is colored automatically. Currently, only Dragon claw-guards can be renamed at the Dragon Sanctuary at the claw-guard smith. The item must be in the inventory and not equipped. It is recommended, but not required, to retain the same material level of an item. Do not increase the material level. Generally speaking, the renamed item should be similar in potency and spirit. Example: some steel claw-guards -> some bright red flaming steel claw-guards This command is logged and reviewed, and any abuse or inappropriate text will be severely punished including revoking usage of this command and removal of the renamed item.
