SEARCH Author: Command Master Keywords: search Type: Command Syntax: search [initem] <item name> - searches the contents of an item in a room. Syntax: search room - searches the room for NONE players AND items. Use 'reveal' to break hidden player's hide. The search command is used to search rooms for items, players or npcs. Additionally, the inside of items can be searched for secret contents. When searching the room and a secret item exists and the search fails, a hint message will appear indicating another search would be worthwhile. When searching the room and a hidden player exists, the success rate is based on the players Abstraction and Coordination attributes vs the targets hide skill. Searching for players does not force them to exit the shadows, to do that, use the reveal command. Delay is reduced by the players hide skill and Flexibility attribute. See: help reveal, help hide
