Frontacians are one of the oldest known races and among the most influential in Aradath's history. They ruled the greatest single Empire the world has seen, building magickal bridges that linked the realm during the Second and Third Ages.
One of the original four races, they see themselves as elite politicians, thinkers, and runemages. Their pride and traditions run deep, and their hopes for a renewed empire remain constant.

Background
The Frontacian Empire rose during the Second and Third Ages, with explorations and conquests that became legendary. Their magickal bridges once connected the world to the heart of the empire.
Though the empire fell into ruin several Ages ago, Frontacian magick remains among the most powerful in Aradath. They are famed for enchanted weapons, golems, and arcane mastery.
Their homeland, Sorcerer’s Isle, is kept secret within the race. It is often in political chaos as noble houses vie for power, all dreaming of a renewed empire.
Temperament
Frontacians are powerful, egotistical, intelligent, and dangerous. They are excessively proud and see themselves as far above other races, often adopting a cold, uncaring demeanor toward “lessers.”
They are sincere and enthusiastic in their pursuit of perfecting magick, quick to anger, and openly scornful of those unable to use it.
Tendencies
Magick is as necessary as breathing to a Frontacian. They often apply one set of standards to themselves and another, stricter set to everyone else.
They look down on non-magical races, Arachnians especially, and rarely form true friendships outside their kind. Associations may happen when it furthers their goals. Lying and theft are strongly frowned upon in Frontacian society.
