Secians are beautiful, winged creatures, the tiniest of all the races of Aradath. Born with ruby-red eyes and dazzling blonde hair, they charm nearly everyone with their friendly nature.
Honored by the gods with the gift of empathy, they are the world’s finest healers. Secians are extremely helpful by nature and will often begin healing an injured traveler immediately.
They can be found wherever Dragons dwell. Secians are essential to Dragonkind, bonded by ancient origins. They are extremely fond of jewels, diamonds among their favorites.
Background
Secians are remnants of the powerful city-state of Secia, changed during the Great Change. They are both protected by Dragonkind and protectors of it.
No one knows how this bond began, but it is strong and unquestionable. Secians are overly fond of jewels and gemstones, perhaps because the Great Change stripped away the embedded jewels they once had.
They still consider Arachnians part of their family and do not understand the hostility they receive from them.

Temperament
Secians are almost always in high spirits and unfailingly kind. They are highly religious and finely tuned to the sufferings of others. A Secian will never purposely harm a sentient being.
Tendencies
Secians are peacemakers who deplore violence and cruelty. They will not knowingly break laws or lie.
To other races, Secian actions can seem blind or driven because they will always rush to the aid of a Dragon. The bond between the two races is intense and affectionate, even between strangers.
Pain feels like a horrible itch to a Secian. They will remove it, remove themselves from it, or let it end quickly.
