Advancement
Progression in Dragon's Gate Reborn is skill‑driven. Instead of chasing experience levels, you improve by training and using the skills that match your class and playstyle.
This keeps role‑play first. A Heart Cleric can rise by healing and serving the temple without being forced to grind combat. You can fight if you want to, but growth does not depend on it.
Training Your Skills
SKILLS lists your learned skills, current levels, and remaining uses. You can add a search term, such as SKILLS PSI, to filter the list.
At an appropriate trainer, LEARN LIST shows new abilities available there. Use LEARN ABILITY <slot> to learn one.
TRAIN LIST shows which learned abilities that trainer can advance. Use TRAIN <slot> for a listed ability. DGR does not use specializations or tier points; ignore those inherited ATS directions if they appear in trainer or help output.
Trainer offerings and restrictions depend on class, race, level, location, and beta availability. Older references to a universal free trainer, fixed training caps, or offline training times have been removed because they were not confirmed in the current live system.
