Summary: Disarming is a melee control action (disarm <target>) that attempts to knock a readied weapon to the ground.

Notes:
Success chance is based on Disarming level and attacker DEX/PER versus target PER and weapon grip defense.

On success, the target loses readied weapon state and the weapon drops in-room.

Baseline tuning is 5s delay and 1 FTG per attempt.

Player Overview

Description: Ability to remove your opponents weapon

Who Can Learn It: Everyone

What It is Supposed to Do: Remove your opponents weapon and throw it to the floor

What it Does: Either removes their weapon or fails

Activation: Disarm (target)

Usefulness (Low Levels): Not many successes

Usefulness (Mid Levels): Successful against NPCs, still unsuccessful vs. most PCs

Usefulness (High Levels): Often successful against all targets

How to Practice: Use the training targets at first, then disarm targets at weaker hunting grounds

Tips: A high OR helps with disarming, try to find creatures with a lower DR than you
